1st Full Season

Written by DZWF at 12:56 10/9-2015

Since I started 1 month ago Season 34 will be my 1st full season. I already regret some of the rookie errors probably everybody made when they started.

I bought 3 good looking riders on my first day without any talents, since I didn't know the importance of scouting yet. However after reading many forum topics, the manual and just scrolling around the game I think I understand most basics now.

My biggest talent is Sepp Veldkamp who I hope to become a very good Time Trialist.

  CL: Average
  DH: Small
  HL: Average
  SP: Good
  FR: Average
  CB: Average
  TT: Incredible
  TQ: Average

So far I've raised his TT skills from 26 till 69 but unfortunately I only have the money for 1 more training camp. That means that I got to get some good results in the upcoming races. With 1 team going for sprint stages and another team for "hilly" stages I hope to earn some money and score some points.

Just wish the days would go by quicker!

  Kind Regards,
  Richard

Game goes slow, but that will keep your interest high ;-)

Nikoline at 17:57 18/9-2015
I have made all the rookie mistakes myself. Don`t worry. Two really great talents. You have many possibilities on what to do. Get one of the mentors to help you out!

DZWF at 17:59 10/9-2015
Thank you very much for the tips! Sepp will go on Training Camp tonight when I get back ;-)

Cloud Atlas at 16:59 10/9-2015
you can go down to 9 riders.. which is not optimal as you want to have some riders for jobs and you also want to keep your teammates in good team spirit and shape but really concentrate right now on training him up to max ASAP and later on either get a second captain in another discipline or some other TTers to build a TT squad

Cloud Atlas at 16:57 10/9-2015
you will make alot more money with your captain as you go up divisions than stay in division 10 and have teams of untrained riders which you will have pretty much random possibilities of getting results. Your captain is 25 already so you really need to train him fast so you do not lose his best years

DZWF at 16:52 10/9-2015
I already sold some to train him and was in doubt about selling more. Isn't it better to have two teams riding for money, compared to selling more riders and only have 1,5 team left for races?

Schiavi di Don at 14:40 10/9-2015
  grrr [rider]953789[/rider ] was what I meant :p

Schiavi di Don at 14:39 10/9-2015
Great talent, I would follow Cloud's advice, sell 2 or 3 guys to train him.
  Tip;
Sepp Veldkamp without the space at the end makes Sepp Veldkamp, not filling in the rider's name

Cloud Atlas at 13:30 10/9-2015
Yeah everyone makes mistakes starting out..don't worry

Very nice talent. I would recommend sell 2 or 3 riders to train him faster
